That's a great question, and one that I have experience with. My brother was on the adcom at Yale and he told me that there were two types of applicants (and this is a quote) "those who I'd do, and those who I'd don't."

Needless to say, the latter category didn't find themselves in New Haven.

I have brown eyes and I'm black and everything worked out pretty well for me. Of course people will have biases, but I don't think that plays too much into how your interview will turn out.

WTH? Maybe if we were living in the victorian era or something? I dont get why having extremely fair skin would help you...or big eyes for that matter. If you're hot, you're hot. Doesnt really matter if you're pale, brown, or dark.

And if you're not attractive, you're not. You can have the biggest eyes in the world and skin as light as you can imagine and still be considered unattractive. But i think people are playing looks up way too much for interviews. You can establish a rapport with the interviewer independent of your looks. Looks matter, but not enough for questions people to worry like this (esp. about weird aspects of their looks?).

As for me, I am more nervous about unexpected questions being asked!
