hey guys does california accept the dentists from those two schools. Meaning if i go there and come to cali do i have to retate the state exam once again for california?

It has nothing to do with the school you come from. Currently, if you want to practice in California, you have to take the California State Board Exam. Whether you go to UCLA, Iowa or UNC, you still have to take the California State Board to practice in California. It does sound like California might soon accept the Western Regional Board (WREB) for licensure, but that is not resolved to my knowledge yet. When it is...you can sign up to take WREB no matter what school you go to. Hope this helps to clarify for you.

anyone who passes the WREB after jan 1st 2005 can practice in cali. it's part of senate bill 1865 that passed a little while back.
