Does the release of intracellular materials into the extracellular space lead to autoimmune attack against those intracellular antigens?
 
Yes if the necrosis occurs in previously immunologically isolated places. Wiki epitope spreading. This is a proposed mechanism of type 1 DM.
 
also bc come compounds that are in the cell have never been exposed to the immune system, once they leak out of the cell they do get exposed, and thus AI reactions against them, and other compounds like them.
