I am currently a junior forensic biology major. From freshman to sophmore year I was a bio major, but decided to switch because it is a smaller department at my school, has more career opportunities and I overall like the curriculum more and find it more interesting than the normal biology degree. Does changing my major halfway through school look poor on my applications? I've seen it mentioned a couple times but i'm curious how much they look at that.

I was a neuroscience major freshman to end of junior year. Switched to bio my senior year. It didn’t hinder me from getting interviews/acceptances.

I don’t think Med schools would even know that you switched majors!
