Does Columbia consider highest DAT score per section or most recent?

I can't seem to find any updated information on this. Dr. Toothaches excel said it takes the highest score but I believe that was back in 2009. Im not sure if that meant overall high score or per section. I ask because My RC dropped 3 points on my second attempt...unfortunately...

I would assume they would look at high scores overall-- otherwise, what would stop people from just taking it many times and trying to cherry pick the highest scores from the various subsections?

I don't know Columbia's specific policy but some schools do cherry pick your best from each section (like UNLV). Call Columbia tomorrow and ask.

The fact that you can't retake more than 3 times without providing a good reason to the ADA and that it's not as simple as "retake, do better" for the majority of people.

That's probably because that is the link you looked at. You can try p 27 of the Guide. It might be more to your liking.

Thanks for everyone's help!
