This may seem like such a silly question, but does the DAT OC section have questions in such a manner as:

"Which sets of reagents would synthesize [BLANK]?

A. Br2, FeBr3; K2CrO7, H3O+; CH3Cl, AlCl3
B. [similar to answer option A]
C. [similar to answer option A]
D. [similar to answer option A]
E. [similar to answer option A]"

Those reactions you should definitely know and the answer is probably not A unless there is something to be oxidized on that starting material before those Bromines add.
