Biology in destroyer doesn't look like the real questions on the DAT..
Do you guys think Biology in destroyer will help me a lot with BIO on real DAT?
I know it covers a lot of stuff and im sure it will help with DAT.. but I am getting discouraged by Biology questions on destroyer because they are sooo HARD!!!
I've read Cliff's Bio for 2 times and I am still getting only a half of the questions correct...

help

I think it somewhat prepares you. Because the biology section is so broad its tough to really know what is on the test. I have destroyer too and what i am doing is reading my kaplan book take the practice test, look over my questions, and understand every detail. What I mean by this is when they give you a question about i.e mesoderm and what it develops into I look it up along with endoderm ectoderm ect. So after this ill go over destroyer and understand the questions and the answers maybe even the choices they gave.

i DO NOT THINK it prepares you at all... i skipped that section and got a 20 in biology on the real DAT...the section is way to specific, its a waste of time...spend more of the time studying the kaplan bio.

i've read all of kaplan bio, and have about 5 chapters left of cliffs bio...and i did all of destroyer bio and got about 75% correct. after reviewing all the ones i got wrong, i took a practice exam and my score in bio jumped 5 points (which might have been due to luck!)

overall, i think it is somewhat helpful to reinforce your knowledge, but you should definitely know kbb bio and cliffs bio front and back!

Destroyer does challenge you and has a variety of topics my advice to you would be to do a review with cliffs ap bio or kaplan then do destroyer it has tons of questions that i dotn think you will encounter in any other book and keep that stuff fresh in ur mind........get ur hands on everythign you can for biology and ever subject that is so u can be over prepared. good luck

DAT destroyer questions are kind of tough in nature. My strategy- AP biology cliff notes side by side with Kaplan blue book. Keep in mind, biology questions are derived from broad range of topics.

I think destroyer is great for the bio section. It helps point things out to you that you dont know. Plus its only a couple hundred multiple choice questions, its not like its a detailed 500 page scientific book. Plus you can NEVER get too many bio multiple choice questions, some of the ones you see on the DAT may even be similar to a question you might see pop up on destroyer.

I used destroyer last in my studies and it was a great tool. I was also shooting for a 30 DAT when I took the exam and destroyer was great in helping me see if i really did master the material as well as I thought I had. When I did destroyer bio it was great because it helped me fill in certain topics that i didnt come across.

I guess if you're just looking to get a 20, then you may find destroyer bio unecessary. But if you want to get a perfect score then destroyer is a great tool because the bio section is VERY VERY random at times and destroyer will show you what you dont know.
