Does either of these classes fit into the premed curriculum (chem+physics)?

I'm non-traditional and want to see if science is for me in a low-stakes environment, but I don't want to waste my time. Will these chem and physics classes count towards premed requirements?

Based on my brief read of the syllabi I'd say they might not count towards pre-med requirements, at least compared to what a typical college level course in physics and chemistry look like. The physics course looks focused on energy while the chemistry course is advertised as being for engineers. Additionally, the fact you can choose whether or not to include the course grade on your transcript is a sign, to me at least, that medical schools aren't likely to accept it. If you're looking for ways to actually take the courses you'd need, I'd look into a post-bacc program.

That being said, if your goal is just to test out if you like science as a subject, these courses are probably okay for that.
