I tried to take Calc I, but all the classes are full. I also see Statistics is required for applying in 2011.

I need to take statistics, but the only statistics class offered is elementary statistics. Does anyone else have this as their prerequisite for statistics?

I used it. So I sure hope its OK. I'm not too worried about it though.

only if it is taught by dr. holmes

edit: i meant as in sherlock, who would talk about stats and then tell you it's elementary, my dear premeds. after i wrote this i googled "dr. holmes" and apparently he was a serial killer so...never mind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._H._Holmes

thread jacking/lame joke over.

From what I've heard, yes, elementary statistics should be accepted.

However, I'd suggest asking your pre-med advisor to be 100% certain if the school(s) you're looking at would accept it.

elementary statistics is just introductory statistics. some people take biostat instead, but its all the same
