kinda a stupid question, but does everyone get a supplemental application? like should it be good news to receive the secondary or is it just something that all applicants do? does it depend on the school? i know kinda silly but just wondering.

with a VERY few exceptions, for the most part, dental schools give out sec app requests. so no. not special.
