My school (UC davis) teaches physics in a very frustrating, confusing, and annoying way, so I ended up doing much worse in physics than every other subject.

I have three A+s in my quarters of Organic chemistry
3 As in General chemistry
2 As and an A+ in General Biology
1 B and 2 Cs in physics.
and an overall 3.61 GPA.

I also have As in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Vector Calculus, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, and Linear Algebra, which I took before I transferred.

I haven't taken the mcat yet, but I'm finding that physics is much easier than I thought it was before. It's just that I wasn't able to fully grasp the material in the way it was taught, but decided to stick through the courses instead of withdrawing.

You have a 3.61 which is average for admitted students. No, you did not ruin your chances.

Ok thanks. I was just wondering because it's one of those core premed courses. I'd probably retake the courses somewhere else if I needed to, but I don't want to dedicate a year to do that when I could just take the mcat, graduate, and go to med school.

I got a few Cs in bio courses and still got accepted to multiple schools. As long as you do well on the mcat, you should be fine.

Awesome. Out of curiosity how well did you do on the mcat? I'm shooting for at least a 30, but that seems like the minimum needed.

Quit fussing. You're doing fine.
