Does honors thesis project course count as BCMP?

Hi,

Another Q on behalf of my student,

Her school offers a 6 credit hour year-long independent research course required for her honors degree thesis in the department of biochemistry called "Project course in biochemistry." She just wants to know whether or not that is counted as a BCMP course? It has no lecture component, just in the lab only.
