I have always thought that all 50 states accept COMLEX I, II, and II instead of USMLE I, II, and III for licensure but I just went to the Illinois website and it says they only accept USMLE without mentioning COMLEX! http://www.idfpr.com/dpr/WHO/med.asp

Is this true? If so I need to know soon so I don't rank IL Programs (even IL MD/DO programs!)

They must.

According to FSMB, they do.

Call them (number in the link above).

Or call these people.

Really, if they didn't, don't you think that some of the programs you interviewed with would tell you that?

They are closed right now. Rank list due at midnight. I can't get in touch with any of my DO friends in IL! I need absolute clarification. Any ideas?

1. You really should have considered this >6 hours before the rank list was due.

2. The answer is yes. See pages 5-6.

Did you think that the state home to one of the oldest and best DO schools in the country would somehow not take their exam for licensure?
