i need to prepare 330 glass tubes with food which will then be loaded with flies and I have a test tomorrow morning and a chem lab report due. Have you guys have situations this worse where you just seemed overwhelmed? make me feel better

Your best day of residency will make this seem like sitting on the couch watching tv. Yes, it gets worse.

lolz wat?

You could have loaded those tubes with food anytime this week and just spent tonight loading the flies, you've had all week to study for the test, and all week to write that lab report. But instead you're on SDN... Yeah, I've had worse weeks 🙄

Sounds preventable by doing things ahead of time. If this stresses you out and have a hard time dealing with this, I'd recommend against going into medicine.

Every day of internship is like that.

Nah, a good day in residency is just a good day. It sucks waking up at 5am or so, but other than that, it can be good, especially if there's an intern taking the floor call, and I'm in the ambulatory surgery center knocking out fun cases. If you pick the right specialty, it should be enjoyable to some extent on a regular basis.
