I plan to take an elective that I am interested in next yr, but it is shown as 200 lvl. Does it look bad on the transcript to take a 200 lvl course in 4th yr? anyone has taken lower lvl course and have problem getting in dental school? thanks!

nope...they could care less

if anything, it might even look good to take a class just for the sole purpose of learning

Took an anatomy course that was 200 level. Learned a ton and I figure it was great prep. for dental's gross anatomy.

Two schools recommended it to me.

I don't think it really matters. For our school, the 200+ classes are for grad students. Whether you are taking undergrad upperdiv, undergrad lowerdiv, or grad classes, I think the only thing they care about is that you get good grades.

Just for fun my last semester i took nothing but freshmen and sophmore courses. Intro to theater, intro to geology, intro to environmental science, intro to cognitive science, and mind and brain psychology. Pulled up my gpa was lots of fun and i got in to dental🙂 Although i wouldnt suggest it unless you have a rocking DAT.
