This might vary by school, but one of the schools I am applying to is UT Memphis, and I remember reading that retaking the DAT will not affect the decision, but they recommend no more than 4 attempts. I'd look over the websites of your schools and the material they sent you. It may be listed. Hope that helps.

My perception is that it does affect your application...especially if you do not continue to show improvement from test to test.
