Does it matter how old LOR's are when applying to medical school?

Hi Everyone!

I recently graduated, but I won't be applying for medical school for maybe another year or two. Can I ask for letters of recommendations now or would I have to wait when I'm close to applying? If I can get them now, how would I hold them till I actually can apply? Thanks.

You can hold on to letters through Interfolio. Check at the schools you're planning to apply to. Some require the letter to have been written within 2 years based on my experience.
