Does it matter if I submit AMCAS Friday or Monday?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Basically, would it matter if I did it Friday or would my place in line be the same for Monday?
Your place in line is determined by the date and time you submit. If you decide to wait until Monday, and 200 other people submit theirs on Saturday, those 200 people will be in line to be verified before your application.

Right. Okay thanks all. Being removed from college for a while makes me forget students aren't off on weekends.

Your place in line won't be exactly the same because there will be some people who submit Saturday, Sunday, and earlier on Monday than you do. With that being said, it won't make a giant difference in the timing of your application whether you submit Friday or Monday. If you need until Monday to polish your application, take the time and submit on Monday.

When do you think is the latest to submit and still be verified on July 2nd? I get the feeling it was last week...

Nothing to do with students being off on weekends... You can submit whatever time you want. Any day of the week.

Nobody can say exactly what the cut-off date will be for getting verified by a certain date as that varies from year to year. However, it seems like they're currently verifying people who submitted June 5th, so that probably means that you wouldn't be verified by July 2nd even if you submitted today. If you'd like to keep an eye on how things are going with verifications, check out the verification thread: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/amcas-submission-verification-2015-2016.1140485/page-7

I meant I forgot that students would work on their apps on the weekends. If you've been working for a while, barring certain circumstances (weird shifts, crunch time), you don't do any work on the weekends. So I forgot that the majority of people who are applying are students and thus used to working on the weekends and would thus be more likely to submit then.
