No, I received my BFA in dance!!!! Then took the pre-reqs as a post-bac student. Do what you are interested in, it will make YOU more interesting.

Fine arts/humanities majors are most preferentially accepted, so don't go for the Biology major! Seriously. Get the grades, do the classes and ace the MCATs, but focus on something you love.
