Although I'm not yet positive, I'm pretty sure that I will eventually want to practice as a vision therapist in California. Is it better for me to aim for a school in CA or does it not matter?

Is it more important to focus on the fact that I want to specialize in vision therapy?

Any and all advice will be helpful. Thanks! ;)

it doesn't matter where you go, but you should try to get your externships (the last year of school is all externships) in CA.

go to the optometry school that is cheapest for you, start with public schools and look at which schools offer instate tution after 1 year (if you are out of stater)
