let me tell you my story , i was igcse lost student didnt know what to do with his future, he figured just following what his colleagues from his class was doing ,was his best option ,& he didnt listen to his parents . He decided to take Biology AS & chem AS , he failed both , then he got a bit depressed . & decided he will never take subjects which needs memorizing skills . Then next year he took math Al . he also failed it . & got into depression & many parental problems . His future was on the hands on the universities he registered to. To his luck he was an igcse & had kinda acceptable grades of required of 8 ols . he got accepted into private medical school . due to the depression & mental challenges who put to . he got D in all most subjects first year & failed others , & was thinking of dropping college , but because it was private , he couldn't tell to his parents that he wanna drop off , & that option shouldn't exist . never mind the student realized his mentality was the problem which was affecting his studying , so he find himself in the rabbit hole of the self -improvement , his life had of a bit of positive change , after barely passing all first year subjects & first term of second year . he decided to see a psychiatrist. then after getting well . he hated that the middle eastern world, that makes fun of people & doctors which respect the mental being & knows there are mental diseases which can consider for it a cure . so I want to be a psychiatrist, but I did absolutely bad at the first year & 2nd year & if being honest haven't barely passed all the subjects , i have failed some . & gonna register them at the upcoming summer semesters . I have asked professional & seniors doctors , some say that the gpa rank of total academic year are essential for considering the specialty u want if u wanna take the license from Egypt(or the country u are studying in) . some say does not directly depend on the specialty i wanna choose to pursue. others say its the least thing will consider my specialty . others say there are other options will help in pursuing the specialty i want . as deciding to take an usmle which the score will depend on the specialty i want, they say that the best option I have because psychiatrist is the least desired to students, but the most wanted to the clinical hospitals. if I'm being honest I'm very lost , should I transfer to another uni so I can start over again . or i just should continue with the university I'm in(that what i want , because if I did a plab or usmle it gonna be super costly for my parents, so I wanna save up as much money as i can ) .or because some seniors said its the least desired career to follow, but the most wanted by the community .
