Does needing to resubmit a LOR since it lacks a signature mean that schools wont review the application until this is corrected?

Hi all,

I have submitted most of my secondary essays and at this point my only hold up is letters of rec. I have received all of my letters, but interfolio is telling me that two were submitted without a signature or letterhead. I have been trying to get ahold of my two letter writers to fix this but it has taken some time. They are both old and somewhat hard to nail down.

My question is, do I just send them in so that schools will look at everything, and then wait for the email telling me it needs to be corrected, or will they not review it at all until all letters are formatted correctly?

Some schools are strict like that.

seems like its just a game of chance then. I suppose I am rushing to get my app in review I think I can have this sorted in the next week or so. While I have you here would you mind giving your feedback on the previous thread I posted? its a question about a specific secondary, but I did not get any responses.

Did you check the school-specific thread if others asked a similar question on the secondary prompt?
I checked through this year and last years, plenty of people over thinking it like myself but no specific answer. Given how much of my application is centered around overcoming poverty, I don't think I have much to add and if I get dinged for saying that oh well.

Depends on the schools. Some will wait on letters, some won't. Some will review you with the letters you have while they wait, some will hold off on the entire application.
