So its been almost a month since I've sent in my Podiatry school application. I've heard back from all the schools except for Barry. Does that mean that I've been rejected? For those of you that received interviews, did they contact you by email or snail mail? It seems like this school is kind of disorganized.

I think all anyone can tell you is no school has said yes... no school has said no. Wait it out. They must be still thinking about it. If they flat out "thought no" they would have sent you a letter/email by now. Good luck!

You should be calling the schools a few times after you have sent in your application. Make sure they know you are interested. A phone call might be the difference between getting an interview and not.

I got an interview invite to Barry within a week via email, give or take a few days. But that was late February. I don't even recall even getting anything in the mail from them either. Anyways, at my interview on March 21st, Amy - their admissions coordinator or whatever her actual title is - said that they've received significantly a lot more apps this year than they ever have and that she hadn't sent out any invites since then because of it. At the time, she told our interview group that only 12 seats were left for the Fall class and that they were expecting about 65-67 kids total. But yea, that was a month ago so I'd be surprised if there are still alot of spots left. Either way, good luck with everything, bro.

Thanks binh for that info. I received interviews from all the schools I've applied to except for Barry so I was confused. I guess I can try emailing/calling admissions to see if there are any spots left. Barry wasn't one of my top choices but I'm from Florida and the school is a hr drive from my house so it would be nice to have that option to go there.

I'd recommend calling if you have any questions. DMU was the best about returning calls but if you can speak directly to someone you should be able to figure out what your status is.

Barry is not full, I interviewed two weeks ago and was accepted. My advice is to be persistent with calling them. It took them almost 2 months to contact me about an interview.

barry is NOT full... interviewed and accepted in early may!

make sure also that all ur stuff is on file.
