i submitted my application early june and got mailed out june 30th...neways pretty much all the schools i applied to have sent me an email tellin me they recieved my application, except for nova. i dont have my dat done yet, i dont know if that is the reason but it seems like everybody has gotten a secondary from them except me. should i call them or do they not send seconderies until send them my dat scores?

it's probably the DAT scores that's holding you back. Most schools don't consider your app. until they get your official dat score.

But double check by calling them.

They probably just don't like you. Don't stress yet, it's only July. It usually doesn't hurt to call assuming you can get ahold of them that is. Nova's a toughie for that.

mine was sent out on june 16 and all my dat scores and other materials were ready

but i just got the "received/under review" update on AADSAS yesterday.
i was wondering why it was so slow for me..
well now they are saying it s being reviewd, i guess all i can do is wait and see 😳

Glad to know i'm not the only one. mine was sent out 6/23 and my current status is "received/waiting additional information." so i called them this morning and Alex told me that they haven't received or upload my aadsas application yet. I don't know... I think it's probably lost somewhere OR they just don't like me either =]

btw, i did receive the "application received confirmation" email from them 2 weeks ago and completed their secondary right after too.

Yeah, people are already getting interview invites already from Nova. So if we all continue beinging in the "under review" AADSAS status, that means maybe we aren't that competitive for the time being haha.

um, i think u should call nova. they sent me a secondary right after my primary got mailed out. And my aadsas said "invited for interview" one day after i submitted my secondary app. however, my dat score was not in by then though. weird. don't have an exceptional gpa 3.4 😛 lucky me

Hi Guys,

You're not alone. I submitted my application on May 21st and it made it into the first mailing on June 9th. Since then, I have heard back from most schools, been offered a couple of interviews, but have heard nothing from Nova. I have called a few times with no success. I have never had so much difficulty getting a hold of someone in an admissions office in all my life. I honestly don't know what to think at this point.

Mine was sent by by aadsas on 6/23 and I got a email confirming that they recieved my signature page but no update on AADSAS what so ever. Definitely not feeling loved after people who sent there apps at the same time got interviews and I didnt guess I will have to wait a while till they go back through if they even do that lol

I did not take DAT yet, and I have heard from Nova saying that they are waiting for more information. I would guess that my lack of DAT is gumming up the works.

Did you fax them your unofficial DAT score? Or did you get an interview before you even took the DAT...? Congrats either way 🙂

I didn't fax them my unofficial DAT score. I did take the DAT before I submitted secondary. My official dat score was sent to NOVA about a week after i received the interview (I called ADA and talked to cindy) and my signature page and nonscience letter were also sent to NOVA after AADSAS notified me "invited for interview".

colorado hasn't done anything yet (I don't think so at least). But good luck getting in there, it's tough for out of staters.

Hey dont sweat it. I've been at Nova numerous times over the summer since Im starting there as a D1 this year, and I know that they are swamped with applications, and orientation. So most likely after orientation, they will catch up...
