Does NYU use Dean's Certificate

Hi, I've only had one interview this cycle and am on the waitlist at NYU. I'm hopeful that I will get in off the waitlist and in the mean time am just trying to prepare like I will.

Does NYU require the dean's certificate? My dean's office is notoriously slow so I'm wondering if I should give them a head's up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
