Does pharmacy school accept community college credits?

My mother just told me a pharmacist she knows who graduated from a big 10 school told her that they don't accept community college credits, is this true?

It really depends on the school, some schools accepts it with no questions asked. Some schools would suggest you to take the classes at a state university, they will accept your cc credit but it is not favorable to your application. The best thing you can do is contact the schools directly. When I was applying to a mid-ranking state pharmacy school, they made it very clear that they will not give me admission if I take all the pre-req classes at a cc.

That's what I thought, i know couple of people who got accepted from cc. thanks for the confirmation.
