Does Prometric and ADA send my DAT scores to the schools listed on my application or do I have to take some action?

When I registered to take the test, I listed the schools for them to send the scores to. Is this all I had to do and now I only have to wait?

ADA will automatically import it into your AADSAS.

They send them to your schools and also upload directly to AADSAS, which will mail them to your schools too. So your schools will have 2 copies of your score. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong 🙂 )

That's a really good question. It doesn't look like you would have to but you should contact AADSAS/your extra dental schools to confirm. Good luck!

When you do find out, can you updated the news here? I don't think you have to pay an additional $30/school since this year it is a new feature that they send the scores to the schools, but I haven't talked to ADA or AADSAS about it.

ADA will automatically import it into your AADSAS.

Having recently suffered through an ordeal to get my DAT scores up, let me tell you that you want to be on top of this and make sure it gets done. ADA to AADSAS import takes up to 12 business days to process. Once that import is done AADSAS takes an additional 2 days before they upload it to your file. In short, it will happen so long as all your info is correct, but it will take a LONG time. (3 weeks since its 14 business days from when you request your score reports be sent)

Also ADA says you can send scores to only one AADSAS school and your scores will be available on AADSAS. Once that happens, AADSAS will send your scores to the rest of the universities (or maybe the universities can just access them online through AADSAS). Call to make sure but this is what I was told by both ADA and AADSAS.
