Does purchasing infringed copies of AAMC exams destroy your mcat registration?

I just purchased an illegal copy of the AAMC CBT exams. I got an e-mail saying that I had purchased illegal copies of copywritten MCAT exams. And that my e-mail and name has been sent to the aamc legal operations specialist. Is my MCAT registration going to be invalid now? I had no idea that the copies you buy online were an act of infringement. Did I just screw up my chances of getting into medical school?

Depends how far it gets taken. Possibly yes.

Yeah definitely contact AAMC as your situation is very unique.

I doubt they can invalidate your MCAT registration. It would be hard for them to prove that it was in fact you who purchased the illegal practice exams. It could very easily have been mom, dad, grandma, or a roommate who did it on your behalf and without your knowledge.
