Hey everyone

So I've been reading an article every day since I've started studying and I recently tried the search and destroy method and did relatively fine. If people use this method though, is there still a point to practice the reading an article each day? Doesn't it take away the "actual reading" if you use this method?

Thanks in advance!

I would keep training your eyes to pick up information from the article. Scoring a 25+ in RC is a lot better than scoring an 18. I would turn it up to 3 articles per day in RC(simulate the test), really over train for the test and stand out from the rest.

Search and destroy is a method, people use. I dont think it will take away from "actual reading", since you do end up getting the general idea of the article with necessary details.

So even with the search and destroy method, it would still be to my advantage to read articles (more than one like you stated) each day so it can pick up my ability to spot key words or phrases quicker, which is the basis of SAD? And your suggestion Would still help for people using SAD then right?

You have to train your eyes, its the movement of the eyes. So yes, you have the right idea.

first of all, I would like to thank both of you for brining this up and I want to ask you what is search and destroy method and what is SAD? and I also like to know if there are any specific website for articles that are similar to the one on the DAT.
Thank you.

SAD is search and destroy, where you go straight to the questions that are detailed based and skip the ones that are tone or inference. Then you come back to those. Everyone says to read the articles from scientific America, which can be found from bootcamp
