Searched and found nothing specific about this..

Does anyone know the formula Osteo schools use to calculte if a candidate is "eligible?" The formula would have to include sGPA and cGPA and MCAT, but I'm at a loss of what it is exactly, or how I go about googling this information. 😕

Also, after someone receives a secondary, are the "numbers" essentially old news and interview decision is based off of solely the submitted secondaries? I'm very confused by this!!

Good ?. I am wondering about this as well. my mcat is score is on the low side

Each school has a different formula, but I think a 2.7 in s and cgpa, or a 21 MCAT is a pretty hard cutoff (from what I've gathered) while a 3.0 is the softer cutoff. MCAT cutoffs vary more as some schools have a lot lower averages than others.

Your stats are still in play until the acceptance. Even post interview they weigh in.

I believe all of the formulas are kept secret. I went to someone I know at my state school and had them calculate my score in person. He/she also included undergrad school, assigned a point value to volunteer work, assigned a point value to research, used sgpa, cgpa, mcat, and I think that was it.
