Hi y'all.
In my TY now, slogging through, looking to take step 3 sometime around Jan or Feb. I'm curious how important this score really is. Will it affect my chances for a competitive fellowship in a couple of years (pain?), or do I just pass it and move on with my life?

I don't want to study any harder than I have to, but don't want to screw myself either, so to speak.

Thanks for the feedback.

Just pass the goddamn thing. No one gives a ****. That test has nothing to do with anesthesiology.

was told fellowships might look at it somewhat but your in trainings will be cared about much much more.

Step I-2 weeks of studying
Step II-2 days of studying
Step III-2 #2 pencils (now that it is all computerized, this doesn't fit as well)

No, nobody cares about your score unless you fail it. If you fail it, check your pulse; you may not be alive.🙂
