Hey everyone. Though I do eventually want to become a doctor, I'm not completely focused on pre-med. I don't think about disease and healthcare 24/7 ( I doubt anyone does). I have a lot of hobbies.

One of these hobbies is drawing and another is amateur game design. Combining these two, I've made a couple of games (flash based). I'm also working on a really big project right now which is going to be amazing (though it might have some adult content ). Is it worth explaining any of this in my application? Would anyone care?

I don't plan to stop. I've been getting better at drawing and I plan to invest a lot of time in doing this in the future. Sorry if this is a strange question, but I hope some of you may be able to answer me.

You can choose to list up to 15 activities and designate any of them as hobbies via the category selection. If it's important to you and doesn't take up space for something that can be potentially more important, then you should list it.

For future reference, you can post questions like this in the AMCAS Work/Activities thread: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=896983

Yeah. This is a Work/Activity. It goes in aptly named Work/Activities section.

Not sure why you capitalized UNIQUE for this. Nothing's unique when you have as many applications as med school. Down play any adult content though.

I actually remember seeing a girl bring her artwork with her to an interview...personally I thought it was a bit strange, but maybe it works 😕

Doesn't sound like you have anything particularly unique. I'd just put it under the Activities/Work section. There were several people with proprietary games and/or software in my class, and there are at least a couple in my residency program, too.
