For the schools that require transcripts/application before the spring grades are finalized, will only the GPA of all courses prior to the spring be weighed in the decision making process?

Im not exactly sure what you mean. If you are already accepted then you should just have to make Cs to keep your spot. And all of the decision making about acceptances are usually made before the spring semester is over. As far as people on a waitlist? Since there isn't any summer academic update with pharmcas I wouldn't send any spring grades unless they specifically ask for it. Other than that just make sure the school has your spring grades by the first day of class in the fall after you are accepted.

Your spring grades may count if you are on the waiting list. For instance UGA requires your spring grades in cases where you have been waitlisted. however, if you have been accepted all you need to do is to obtain C grades

It actually depends on the school. If you have a lot of required courses to go, they may require that you maintain a certain GPA. Others may just need you to pass with C or better.

Get accepted early, then coast with Cs.

We make decisions on what we have available at the time the application is submitted. As additional grades and PCAT scores trickle in, those are considered as well. However, you are correct in your assumption that a decision will usually be made without regard to your spring grades. All schools will want to see that you passed any outstanding courses.

Quoted for truth - however, this practice likely varies by institution - contact the school in question for verification.

So in most cases, I have until the Fall semester before I enter to pull up my GPA?

The GPA that PharmCas will calculate will only include the scores on your transcripts at the time you submit. Anything after that (for better or worse) will probably be reviewed later if the school considers you for admission / interview.
