Hey,
In my neuroticism, I came across some website where some people were claiming that not filling out the survey at the end completely could somehow mess up the computer and be counted as an automatic fail. Now, I'm not one to believe this but seeing as step 1's not something you ever ever wanna take again....just seeing if anyone out there's heard this or if anyone can say that they didn't completely fill out the survey and still got their accurate score? i guess i shouldn't have been lazy and should have filled it out but i was drained and notice that i could click next without filling it out and so that's what i did (after filling like 3 out of 5 pages).
thanks for responses.

I've gotten my CBSA score without filling out the survey. I know you don't even see the survey if you run out of whole-day time during the real test.

I personally haven't heard anything about the computer getting messed up and people being failed for not doing the survey...

On a side note, I don't think the computer messing up should matter. I think it backs up your progress after every question. This coming from my personal experience with my power failing in the middle of one of my CBSA exams. I was using my laptop but my modem died. I was able to go to school and start back up on the exact question I'd left off on.

With all those supposed stupid experimental questions they throw on the exam, I wouldn't be surprised if your survey answers counted something towards one of the lame sections of the exam like Behavioral Sciences. Just try not to fill out too many answers as "Strongly Agree" or "Strongly Disagree", as I am sure the USMLE might consider that "Unethical".
