Hi... This summer I'm working as a clinical research volunteer at a major hospital. In addition to data analysis I spend a lot of time in the OR some of which is spent helping the anesthesiologist with any tasks i am allowed to as an udergrad (prepping some IV tubes with medication, retrieving tools like gauze. tape, etc) and was wondering if this counted as clinical volunteering) Thanks

Are you working with patients? That is the deciding factor.

I am- even if they're technically unconscious
I think that you could list it as clinical volunteering. It's certainly more involved than folding towels. Be aware that even though you may list it as clinical volunteering, admissions will likely give preference to someone who has cared for conscious patients.
