Does this count as nonclinical volunteering?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes Yes.

Yes, why wouldn't it? Did you get paid? Am I missing something obvious?

Nah, I wasnt paid.
I mean, I just did it cause it was so fun to have kids around me lol.
Wanted to make sure as some ppl might just look at it as a church activity.

Thanks!

Wanted to make sure as some ppl might just look at it as a church activity.

I claimed an honest ten years of Sunday school and Bible study teaching on my app. I said plainly in my description that I led small groups in study of the Bible. It hasn't seemed to have hurt my chances. Two out of three interviewers at a recent interview brought it up. One was excited to talk about it because he teaches, too. The other was raised in a church, but has since taken a more agnostic view. We still talked briefly about faith-based medical missions and had a really nice conversation.

There are lots of doctors who are active in their churches.

Best of luck to you!
