Does anyone else study with their elbows on a desk and then have their 4th and 5th fingers go numb for about a day or so. This has been happening to me a lot in the last month of studying, and I'm pretty sure I must be trapping my ulnar nerve at the elbow. Pretty weird, I wonder if this is a common med student injury?? Maybe it will be on my test haha

All i can say is I get severe backaches. Can't wait to get a ____ massage from my gf after the exam

I get back aches from being hunched over a desk all day, so I periodically switch it up with laying prone on the ground (picture a 14 year old girl lying down on her bed writing in her diary). Sounds ******ed, but man is it a nice change from sitting at a desk.

yeah, the backaches are getting pretty bad too, oh well my back can suffer for one more week haha

out of curiosity, are you a weight lifter? I know this actually happens more in people with more muscle bulk

i get tingling sensations in my head after starring at the computer and reading after a while 😀

I never get the "Med Student Syndrome" of diagnosing myself with a bunch of diseases we learn about, but I'll be damned if I don't have Ankylosing Spondylitis. My aching sacroiliac.

Can someone check my MHC I's for me?

I tweaked my right rotator cuff working out at some point during college and pissed it off again in a wreck this past December. It is not happy that I insist on keeping it in the same position for 10+ hours per day.
