Wait, wait, wait......MCAT was only A-D. Are you telling me that come time for Step exams I will have to deal with a fifth choice?!?! That is a deal breaker. Time to drop the premed track.

I've seen up to 12. At least they got rid of the K-type questions.
 
65% cited "Evidence of professionalism and ethics" as a factor. What's going on with the other 35%? 😵 You'd think that all residency programs would consider that to be important....

One of the problems with surveys like this is that they leave such nuance to interpretation. My take is that 65% of respondents specifically incorporate professionalism and ethics into their screening rubrics. That does not mean that lapses in professionalism and/or ethics are routinely ignored by the remaining 35%.

Gotcha. I knew it was some kind of survey error but didn’t know what exactly.

I think the response rate would increase if it were instead worded as “Documented instances of unprofessionalism or unethical behavior”.
