I interviewed at a 3 medical schools but have not got any feedback to date with regards to an acceptance, rejection, wait list e.t.c. Tonight I check my email and I have an email from an US Air Force recruiter, Congratulating me on my decision and acceptance to Medical school, plus the scholarship information and benefits that they are willing to offer.

I have never tried to enlist or provided my information or checked any blank boxes on and application that would suggest for me to join the Naval Force. Maybe I'm just too anxious and reading too much into things but is this a generic letter that all applicants to Medical School receive? May this also mean that I have been accepted to one of the schools that I interviewed at but just don't know yet? Or maybe it means nothing at all and I should just ignore it?

I've gotten similar emails and haven't interviewed anywhere yet. Just ignore it.

I once got an acceptance email from a school I had not even interviewed at.

Awkward.

You're not accepted until you have an acceptance package in hand, your materials are in to the school, and you receive your official acceptance letter with your name on it.

That recruiter sounds like he was trying to hoodwink you into a enlisting.

Military branch trying to recruit by abusing naiveté? Never...
