Does UCLA accept AP credit for prereqs?

I took AP Psych in high school and got a 5 on the exam, apparently Intro to psych is one of their prereqs and I don't really wanna take it again.

They accepted my AP credits, but I needed to use upper division credit in order to satisfy my pre-req unit requirements (like Cell Physio, Biochem, etc), so you may have to take it again if you don't have something you could use instead. It's best to ask Noemi directly and see what happens.
