I am an Arizona resident and I recently applied to University of Ketucky's dental program. Im hesitant to send the secondary because of what ive been reading about getting in to out of state schools. I could use this money to send my application to another school (maybe a WICHE school). What do you guys think?

UK had a student body of 30% OOS students for the entering class of 2011. If money is not an issue, do apply. Also, DAT scores for the school were below 20. Check out this site. Although it is slightly outdated, it should give you an idea of whether you should apply or not.

I feel like so many of these threads would be answered by just opening the ADEA guide.

In 2013, 26/1549 OOS students matriculated. That's about 1.7% of all OOS applicants.

By secondary do you mean your application fee?

They can. Most people are just lazy.

The answer is yes. If you're seriously interested go for it. If you're using it as a back up then forget it. A buddy of mine was accepted there as an oos with averagely good stats. He ended up going elsewhere due to cost (got into his state school) but talked highly of it from his interview. Best of luck!
