Does UPENN need US notary documents?

Hey guys
does upenn require our documents to be notarized in the US before we apply or can we have them notarized in our home country? I'm not just talking about attested i'm saying really "notarized" by a bank or something? will that work? also if they need it done by a US agency do yhou think that getting it done from the US embassy would work?
help me out quick!

Hey Khurram,
You can get the doduments notarized from any registered notary.Infact i know friends who have got their documents notarized through their Triple A membership as its free.You can also use banks,that is the manager but it may be a problem if you have too many to sign,hence my friends used the triple A funda.I myself got my documents for all the applications notarized froma registered notary who happens to work for my husband"s company so i was lucky!!Good luck.

can we send the notarised copy of nbde 1 score or we need to send it thru ada to upenn.
I have sent ece report thru ece to upenn or should i send notarised copy again?

I have requested official score reports for part 1 and 2 to be sent directly to the universities from the ADA.Thats what the Universities want, (though they may accept your notarized copys what manddaki stated in one of her posts ) but as far as i know they need the official score reports before they begin to review your application.So best is to request them a little a head of your application.Hope that helps 👍
