Hi,

My major is Bio-Chemistry. I am planing to apply to dental schools.
I have C+ in my Biology I & II but I have A's in Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II and A- in cell-Molecular Biology.

My question to the forum is:
1)Does upper level Science couses count towards Science GPA?
2)Should I repeat Bio I & II ??
3)What are my chances With C+ in my Biology I & II ?

thank you all.

Upper level sciences courses definately count toward your science GPA as does Calc I and II. I don't know what your overall GPA is. But if your gpa is high then there is really no need to retake bio 101-102. your A's in upper level courses prove that you can handle bio, just had a bad start. Don't forget that your chemistries count as well so do well in all 4 chem classes and that should boost your GPA nicely. Good luck
