I spent the past summer volunteering for the office of the local medical examiner by assisting in autopsies.
While I found the experience interesting, it was time consuming and a little slow (except for homicides). I'd like to take advantage of the opportunity again this summer, but I'm not sure if it is worth it.
Would involvement in something like that help create a strong resume for applying to medical school?
