Nope, they take your money regardless of what you scored. Then laugh all the way to the bank throwing out the non-competitive scores along the way.

I just got an email from WashU saying they received my AMCAS app inviting me to fill out the secondary, but under my status on AAMC it still says I'm only "ready for review"

anybody else encounter this?

Yep same position. What I am more worried about is the delay in verifying my AMCAS. Its been 10 days and its still "Ready for Review"

In another thread some one suggested that maybe AMCAS sends out "preliminary applicant information" if you aren't yet verified. I don't know if there is any truth in that statement.

As for WashU, they most certainly do not screen secondaries, otherwise they wouldn't have posted it online back on June 15th.
