Does Western Universities secondary application always come with an interview?

Did you all get an interview with your secondary application, becauseI got an Email that I will get my secondary application, however the interview depends on the admissions committe's decision.

Basically, I sent my sencondary app to COMP, then they invited me for an interview later. Of course, there are some exceptions, especially this early time.

Ok, so basically you are saying that you got your interview after they got your secondary, and not Interview+secondary at the same time

Western does both: 1.) they invite to interview pre-secondary (but you have to have submitted the 2ndary prior to actually interviewing) OR 2.) uses the traditional route of getting your secondary and then deciding on whether you will be invited for an interview or not.

Usually anybody that meets the minimum criteria (most applicants) gets a secondary... but total applications are about 2,200 and about 600 of those actually interview. Have you visited the Western U website?

western will do that if you have a GPA and MCAT score above a certain level. (3.4/24?) where you get an interview after the primary and you just submit your secondary before the interview so they know more about you.

I'm OMS-I and lots of people here (including myself) got in that route.

I just added Western COMP to my AACOMAS application. It was kind of sput of the moment but I have been toying with it for a while. I hear its a great school, and I have never seen California!

uh yeah more or less. I happened to see it in the admissions office last week. I think it was like that because i remember thinking it was sort of low.

Seems like alot of people got in through that 'interview-before-secondary' route from what I hear in my class.

And if those numbers are right, man, that MCAT score is really low.

Dont be put off by COMP's hot weather and stinky air. I interviewed there recently and it looks like a great school.

I called two weeks after I sent in the secondary, just to say that I was checking to make sure that they had recieved it... then I went to 'casually' ask what the interview schedule might be like 'if' I got an interview.

I think most of the admin peeps were pretty helpful, so I wouldn't be shy about calling them up.
