So I am serving in the military in AK. I am a Utah resident and would like to go back home to go to school either at U of U or Roseman. I have the opportunity to change my residency and apply to WICHE. I talked with the certifying officer and he said "The state of Alaska will fund anyone who meets the criteria to be into the program. Alaska does not offer any forgiveness for this loan, and so there is no limit to the amount of students can take advantage of this program. Each year there are only about 4-6 new students who use the program." Is this worth looking into, or should I just stay a Utah resident and compete against all those ridiculously smart Mormons?
