Does Withdrawal count as a 0?

Hey guys,

I have a course on my transcript that i dropped late so it doesn't have a mark or credit but says LWD (late withdrawal) next to it. I'm just wondering if this will count as a 0 in GPA calculations. I've read in past threads that it shouldnt count but I was wondering if it was a recent change that they've made.
