I am currently in the process of reapplying and since I already had around 150 shadowing hours from last cycle, should I still resume shadowing and if yes, how much more hours should I try to get?

For dental school applications, I don't think you need 150 shadowing hours. Break it down by offices and specialties; how many offices and what specialties did you observe? Usually 100 hours is enough for most schools, as long as half of the hours are in general dentistry.

I shadowed 4 offices, 3 of them general and one of them perio. I had around 60 hours with the perio and 90 with the general dentists.
