Does your school offer International Away Rotations?

Yes, I am a lowly 2nd year. However, I have been tasked to help our school to integrate international away rotations into our 4th year curriculum.

I am interested to know if your school has such a program. We're starting from zero here, and I need a little precedent!

There is a real problem with DO's and students working abroad - we don't have the same practice rights at MD's, and DO students don't have the same study opportunities as MD students. And. the AOA has no intention of helping to rectify this issue.

The reason is money and politics. The people in leadership positions within the osteopathic profession want to maintain the status quo and hence their well paid positions. Do to anything that further aligns DO's and MD's undermines their positions.
